Default Weird e-mail about Guild Wars

I got an e-mail from lyris-confirm-3094245J @listserv.plaync.com, title: Guild Wars account settings, with the question whether or not I wanted to receive updates on the game and such. The yes or no where links, and I dont really trust them.

Anyone else got this message? Or should I e-mail A-net to ask them if this is correct?

TY

Looks like it would be valid with the plaync.com...not sure 100% sure tho. Dunno why they'd email you to ask about updates...

yeah, well what I am wondering about is that the plaync.com is followed by an A-net emblem (not that that should be hard to aquire anywhere). But if nobody else has seen the e-mail, I dont think it's valid. Why would they only ask me about it?

You would think, especially if it is genuine they would not tell you to follow a link in an email, with all the scam emails that go around

Personally I deleted it

its not a scam. if you click on it, you get to the guildwars.com with a message, that you have succesfully updated your plaync account, and you will recieve game update notes to your e-mail address

Yes I had the same for my 2 accounts, but I did not reply and deleted the e-mails after I did not find anything on the GW web site.
Too late for me!
